Dr. Joy Martinez is currently the CEO of The Alchemist Agency. Ms. Martinez has over two decades of experience developing strategies and proposals for generating revenue through grants and fundraising. She has served as liaison to individual donors, cultivated ongoing relationships and encouraged donor involvement in fundraising activities. Ms. Martinez works as a consultant to the healthcare and housing industries, nonprofit organizations, and emerging businesses in the areas of marketing, organizational development, fundraising strategies, and grant and donation management in compliance with local, state and federal law. To date, she has raised over $275 Million dollars in grants and unrestricted funds. Joynicole is a member of the American Evaluators Association and a Certified Six Sigma Green Belt, and uses this knowledge in leading organizations to high levels of efficiency and performance.
Ms. Martinez’s education and professional experience includes degrees in Political Science, Marketing, Public Health, and Health Science. She is also trained in the development of visual communications, concept and design collateral, art direction location, buy illustration and marketing. Joy is also a freelance author, providing content in the areas of healthcare, quality and evaluation, veterans and military service and nonprofit management.
In addition to her formal education, Joynicole has earned certificates in Grant Writing (Fort Hays State University), Human Health and Global Environmental Change (Harvard University) and Nutrition for Health Promotion and Disease Prevention (University of California at San Francisco).
