Monty Green

Founder & Executive Director

Monty Green is currently the Founder and Executive Director of Wisdom to BELIEVE Foundation, a non-profit organization that provides community based career development and workforce development services to those who are looking to re-tool themselves for the 21st Century business marketplace. The organization also provides STEM based development and training to the K-12 education market. In addition, Monty has partnered with his wife to form MVG Consulting Group which provides industry based consulting services including strategic plan development, business development and sales solution strategies within the HIT commercial and federal marketplace.

Prior to opening MVG Consulting Group, Monty was the Director of Healthcare Solutions for Vitalize Consulting Services, a SAIC company. During Monty’s many years at SAIC he also had responsibility for Managing SAIC’s Emerging Markets Business Development organization. As a key member of SAIC’s Health Solutions business Unit, Mr. Green was directly responsible for the development and support for commercially focused healthcare solutions. Prior to SAIC, Mr. Green was an Associate Partner within IBM’s Healthcare division as well as President of his own Electronic Medical Records software application company.

Mr. Green brings over 26 years of healthcare and public health experience in designing, developing and implementing healthcare processes, applications and technologies. Mr. Green has worked on various healthcare industry initiatives including efforts focused on electronic health records, health information exchanges and health analytics. Mr. Green has significant experience in assisting organizations with understanding their business goals and objectives and how to utilize technology and emerging solutions to effect the appropriate change in processes to achieve desired results.

Monty’s passion for leading and assisting others in the field of healthcare information technology and Education has led him to serve on several Boards and committees within the academic and private business industry. Some recent Board appointments include Ivy Preparatory Academy Governing Board, Metro Atlanta Chamber Board of Advisors, Technology Association of Georgia’s HIT Advisory Board and Southern Polytechnic State University’s Technology Leadership Board.

Monty holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Communications from The State University of New York (SUNY) at Fredonia.
